Judge Karahan attended the monthly meeting of the yellow rose of texas republican women in Tomball at Cisco’s Salsa House. Current HCRP Chairman Jared Woodfill was the keynote speaker. Judge Karahan briefly discussed his work in Court 8 and encouraged the members to get out the vote.
Judge Karahan attended this fund-raiser, “Two Saints and a Taco” for St Thomas University at St Arnold’s Brewery. The event raised funds to assist students with financial hardship.
Judge Karahan was pleased to attend the AWA Luncheon in honor of recipients of the premiere Women in Law Awards. AWA also give six scholarships to second- and third-year women law students attending one of the city’s three law schools.
Judge Karahan was pleased to sponsor a billiard tournament for B players at US Billiards.
Judge Karahan was honored to open the State of the County address by singing the National Anthem at Hilton Americas, hosted by the Greater Houston Partnership.
