Judge Karahan completed his last day as presiding judge of Harris County Criminal Court-at-Law 8. It has been a privilege and honor to serve the citizens of Harris County for 16 years, and work with an incredible staff of dedicated individuals. Judge Karahan is honored to have received a special award from the Log Cabin Republicans of Houston for “Courage. Principle. Justice.” Judge Karahan is a long time supporter of LCR and it’s mission to promote equality and non-discrimination.
Judge Karahan is honored to have received a Lifetime achievement Award from the Houston Taiwanese Care & Assistance Association for his long time support of Taiwanese culture and people in Houston and Harris County.
