Judge Karahan welcomed students from Northshore High School who visited Court 8 and witnessed our criminal justice system at work, hopefully inspiring careers in law and law enforcement, as well as instilling the importance of consistently making good choices in life! Five pocket US Constitutions were given as prizes for correct answers to Bill of Rights questions.
Judge Karahan was humbled to receive exceptional scores on the 2015 Houston Bar Association Judicial Evaluation. This score would not have been possible without the consistently fine work of the Court 8 staff and the many fine lawyers who work hard on their cases.
Judge Karahan, along with Orlando Sanchez and Chris Daniel, prepared and served BarBQue at the quarterly meeting of the Harris County Republican Party Executive Committee meeting.
